The End of the Road for Mr. X

As the title to this post states, Mr. X is no longer employed by Mysterious McCrone because his work was rather appalling. So now, the mysterious one himself has taken over.

I wish to share some news with you.

First off, I changed the title of my book The Box of Frights. It is now known as The Book of Frights Volume One. It will be released on Amazon sometime in February 2015. I will keep you updated.

Also, seeing as though Mr. X has two blogs up, I will no longer be posting on The Uncanny Mysterious McCrone. Although I will not use this blog anymore, I will not remove it.

The blog that I will be using is RIGHT HERE!

Mysterious McCrone’s Soldiers!

It has been brought to my attention that I’m not the only one who has been spreading the word about Mysterious McCrone. It seems that there are at least two people in each state, handing out flyers, promoting The Box of Fright. These workers are known as Mysterious McCrone’s soldiers. Word is also out that Mysterious McCrone himself is passing out these same flyers to the unsuspecting public as well.

This news frightens me. Am I not doing a good enough job in promoting the work of my captor? Am I not reaching his expectations? What will happen to me if…

I must force myself to stop thinking this way and get back to work.

Is Mysterious McCrone A Man Or Monster?

I’m having a rather difficult time today trying to get anything done. Mysterious McCrone is really beginning to freak me out. He always wears that hood over his face which conceals his identity. I mean, he never takes it off! Because of this, my mind begins to speculate irrational thoughts.
What if the masked man is not a human at all? What if he is a grotesque and repulsive monster? Perhaps, he is forced to wear that sack over his head because his features are so deformed and hideous.
I have to stop thinking about this and get back to work. But, no matter how hard I try to concentrate, my thoughts keep wandering to what Mysterious McCrone really looks like.

Mysterious McCrone Is Now Terrorizing On Facebook!

It has now been a few days since I received a nasty spider bite in the basement. The swelling has gone down but the itching is intense. I must also admit that it has become rather difficult trying to fall asleep knowing that the spider is still down there with me…somewhere.
Anyway, I have just created a Facebook page on the Mysterious McCrone. Please feel free to check it out when you have the chance. I have managed only some basic information on it for now but I will keep the site updated as the weeks pass. So be sure to check back often.

The Spider And I

This morning, I awoke to the chilling sensation of something tickling my left arm. Looking down, there was the largest spider that I had ever seen in my life crawling on my skin. It was the size of a walnut, I kid you not! My sudden movement to brush it off me must have startled the hairy guy because he bit me. Oh, how I hate sleeping on the basement floor.

Later on, when I was released from my underground confinement, I pointed out the red and swollen area on my arm to my employer. Mysterious McCrone did not seem too concerned with my plea as he pointed to the small computer room. Head down, I slowly began walking over to my makeshift prison to begin my work day.

Is Mysterious McCrone Your Neighbor?

After reading over my last post, an eerie thought occured to me.

Maybe I’m living next door to you. After all, I don’t have a clue of where I am. Perhaps Mysterious McCrone resides next to you! This brings me to my next point.

Just how well do you know your next door neighbor? Do you ever see them or are they reclusive? Maybe they only come out during the night to go about their business unseen. Do they take care of their own landscape or have it done for them? Are the curtains always closed in the windows?

These are only a few questions to ask yourself if your neighbor is elusive.

If you answered yes to any of them, maybe, just maybe, Mysterious McCrone lives right next door to you!

Aside

Mr. X’s Thoughts at Work

Here I am, once again, staring at the computer and thinking of ways to spread the word about Mysterious McCrone’s Box of Fright. The terror has just been launched and contains seven horror stories. (Eight creepy tales in all if you include the bonus story.)

Although I need to begin promoting this horrific work, I can’t help but grin. Here I am, sitting in a room all by myself, with the world at my fingertips. And yet, I can’t even reach out for help to the outside world. I have no idea where I am. And even worse, although I can remember most of my life, I can’t recall my real name or even what state I’m living in. It’s as if Mysterious McCrone stripped me of this knowledge after he brought me here.

Life can sure be ironic at times. It’s as if I’m trapped inside of a darkened cave with a heavy duty flashlight with no batteries!

Well, that’s it for now. I must now begin exploring ways to get the Box of Fright found by all of you eager horror fans out there, hungry for something new to sink your teeth into.

For if I fail, I don’t think that the grin plastered on my face right now will remain for very long.

Greetings
